The Bloggers Sogger!
The idea of posting you thoughts on the world wide web at first seems scary, because everyone has your exact ideas, thought, and expressions right their to make comments and judge whether good or bad.But being able to communicate with individuals from around the world and to have them make suggestions or to expand on a topic and inject different perspectives make it very exciting and educational worthy....at least for the time being:)

I agree, my initial thoughts about posting my personal thoughts and ideas seem a bit scary. However, Will Richardson makes a very valid point about us, as educators, in his book Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms. We need to be informed about and able to use the tools many of our students are already using on a regular basis. Education is changing and as "leaders" we need to change with it! I also agree that being able to connect with people from around the world and gain different perspectives on various issues is exciting.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Posting your ideas for a worldwide audience is a little intimidating, especially if you are a terrible speller like me! However, it also raises the stakes and provides the opportunity to get a wide variety of input like no other means available. Definitely intriguing on a personal and educational level.
